Located in Odenas, in the Rhône department, Château de La Chaize is the largest wine estate in the region. Owned since the 17th century by the La Chaize d’Aix family, it came into the possession of the Gruy family in 2017 and is thus part of the innovative and ambitious Maïa Group.
The wine estate, each plot of which is vinified individually, has 23 cadastral localities, spread across the Beaujolais appellations: Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Fleurie and Morgon. To promote this beautiful production and the local influence of its oenological offering, a Château de La Chaize boutique is opening at the end of 2023 in the heart of Lyon, Place Jacobins.
The teams of Maison Rouveure Marquez had the pleasure of restoring an ornamental set to reproduce a classic style ceiling. The two magnificent rosettes serve as a hanging base for the chandeliers with subdued brightness, giving the place a sparkling atmosphere. The cornices with detailed moldings frame the creation and are decorated with lighting gorges.
The project is skillfully combined with the rest of the interior decoration, calling on talented craftsmen (the creation of a unique display using bottles and light, an ergonomic wooden bar, a painting representing the great Beaujolais estate, etc.).
The creation gives rise to a space that is both warm and elegant, like its wine, ready to welcome customers, tasters and wine lovers from all walks of life.
