PLASTER CORNICES AT PHILIPS LIGHTING’S OLAC VILLAGE

The concept of a “model village” showcases Philips lighting experiments and applications.

Philips launched the initiative of creating a centre dedicated to outdoor and indoor lighting with a demonstration space in Bressolles, France. The impressive Outdoor Lighting Application Centre (OLAC) was built in 1993:

“to show you the possibilities with lighting and also show what it can offer beyond illumination” Lighting Philips

During its renovation in 2015, Maison Rouveure Marquez was brought in by the firm SAPE and had the pleasure of manufacturing and installing plaster cornices and friezes as part of that project.
